Monticello Asphalt Paving

Lake towns wear out pavement in their own particular way. Around Lake Shafer and Lake Freeman, driveways carry boat trailers all summer, sit under dripping trees, and then freeze hard all winter with nobody there to notice the cracks growing. By the time a cottage owner comes back in May, three winters of neglect show up at once. A lot of our Monticello work is exactly that catch-up: patching, crack sealing, and overlays that reset the clock on a lake driveway.

The steady summer crowd headed to Indiana Beach keeps Monticello's commercial lots busy seasonally, which makes spring the smart window for sealcoating and striping, done and cured before Memorial Day traffic. We schedule lake-area commercial work in April and May for precisely that reason.

RV pads are the other Monticello specialty. Between the campgrounds and the lake lots, this is the town where we pave the most trailer and RV parking, and pads get a thicker spec than driveways because tongue jacks and leveled loads point-load the surface.
